In our quest for a new captain we have been hit by a big streak of premature maxiculation. Since our manager Hennerie has a 'thing' for scouting our goal is to scout and train a new captain to replace Cao over time.
With Nijholt (220+), Sagong(230+), Gumy(210+), Gatto (210+) and the latest addition to this infamous club of mishaps Pacheco (220+) we have scouted and trained many potential captains but have yet to find one to max high.
Desperate to find a new captain we have resolved to alternative ways, visiting a local psychic (Trinh Van Le) . He said selling Christopher Feaux was a big mistake and has laid a curse on the team. To defeat this curse we will have to train a real captain, but to be able to do so we had to do some rituals.
We have asked him what rituals to do, but he refused to help us any further. So we decided to go back to our headquarters again. But as we were leaving town we saw two guys riding on very old rusty bicycles and we asked them what they were doing. "Training" they said and having to hold our laugh we asked them for their names and bade them a good day.
Still disturbed about the curse and thinking about the next step we should take Hennerie suddenly had a cunning plan. After making some phone calls the team suddenly had two new riders
Trinh Van Nhanh and Trinh Phat Dong joined the team within one week of another. Trinh Van Nhanh has the potential to maybe become a lead out where Trinh Phat Dong has no real ambitions. Yet both are essential team members of team BrokenChain.
Back to the psychic we went. After requesting the instructions for the rituals again and again been denied we offered the psychic to join us for dinner in the restaurant around the corner. It was there were we explained the psychic about our plans and told him about our current team. We said our good byes and reluctantly went back to our headquarters.
The next morning however we received a call. It was the local psychic who was surprised to hear that we had two of his relatives in our team. He never thought they would become pro, as haven't shown any promise before. But because pressure has been put on him by his other relatives to make them as good as they can be he gave us the ritual instructions. Also he told us that the news of the two local boys joining a pro team has been spread and gave us a tip to a known talent. Heng Nguyên Doan he said, that is the guy you need to get. Younger then my family but known all over central Vietnam for his big mouth... and in most parts for his cycling potential too.
The ritual, which turned out to be quite simple, consisted of burning some incense and herbs and pray to the Saints Mech and Anic for help and good fortune...
